Why Abram Roofing?

We formed in response to a need we experience at our sister custom home building company, Abram Homes. We found that a quality shingle and a quality installer are paramount to the longevity of a roof. When we had difficulty finding a quality installer, we decided to oversee our own roof installations. We now offer our service to the wider community and our goal is to install beautiful, long-lasting roofs for our neighbors in our community.

My roof is leaking, does it need to be replaced?

Not necessarily. Leaks can develop for many reasons. Often, roof leaks are caused by damaged flashing, or a repair needed on a confined area of your roof. At Abram Roofing our team of experts will help you determine if your roof needs a localized repair or a full replacement.

I have asphalt shingles sliding off the roof, why?

If your roof is less than 10 years old, shingles sliding off your roof are most likely due to poor installation. If the shingle was nailed above the common bond or shingle lap area, over time, the shingle will delaminate and slide out. If you have a much older roof, the shingles may have reached their lifespan and may have deteriorated to the point where the asphalt shingle is compromised.

What type of shingles do you install?

Abram Roofing will not install a builder’s grade shingle. We prefer to install the PREMIUM Titan XT shingles. This shingle comes with a LIMITED- LIFETIME warranty and is comparable to a 50 YEAR shingle. These shingles will last longer, hold tighter, seal better, and age more slowly than any builder’s grade shingle on the market today. When compared to other premium shingles, Titan XT offers an industry-first Wind-Guard Warranty with wind protection up to 160 mph. This shingle is class 3 impact rated. Ask your insurance agent if your insurance agency gives a discount for a class 3 impact shingle.

What warranty do you offer?

Abram Roofing offers a 3-year installation error warranty. Roofing manufacturers come with their own manufacturers defect warranties based on the product being installed.

For metal roofs, what gauge metal do you typically install?

Abram Roofing typically installs 26-Gauge metal and offers several rib profiles.
